The COSIA team, including Mr. Ninad Jaywant (Hon. Gen. Secretary), CA Nandan Khambete (CMC Member), Mr. Girish Khambete (Member), Mr. Sameer Shirodkar (Secretary Legal), and Mr. Vinay Sawant – Advisor, recently visited the Lote Parshuram Industries Association (LPIA) at Lote Parshuram MIDC, Khed, on 16th February 2025. The COSIA delegation received a warm welcome from Dr. Prashant Patwardhan, Director of LPIA, along with his team.
The meeting provided an excellent platform for both organizations to exchange insights about their recent activities and explore opportunities for collaboration. Dr. Patwardhan shared the current challenges faced by industries in the Lote Parshuram MIDC area. In response, Mr. Jaywant encouraged LPIA to share these concerns with COSIA, assuring that COSIA would advocate for them with the relevant authorities.
A key focus of the discussion was on potential skill development initiatives under COSIA’s Kaushalya Vikas Yojana (KVY). Both organizations expressed a strong intent to jointly organize programs that would benefit both local youth and industries in the region.
It was mutually agreed that COSIA and LPIA would collaborate on industry-related issues and, wherever possible, present a unified voice to amplify their impact. COSIA, particularly in matters concerning MSMEs, committed to taking the lead in addressing industry challenges and promoting growth in the Lote Parshuram area.
