In a recent communication, the Chamber of Small Industry Associations (COSIA) extended its heartfelt congratulations to Shri Devendra Fadnavis on his appointment as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. The letter, sent on behalf of COSIA’s President, Sandeep Parikh, also conveyed the COSIA’s full support for the Government’s efforts to promote the growth and development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state.
As a national body committed to the advancement of MSMEs, COSIA has consistently worked at the intersection of government policy and industry needs. The organization plays a crucial role in representing the challenges faced by MSMEs, advocating for their rights, and ensuring the smooth implementation of government policies aimed at enhancing their growth potential. In addition to this, COSIA is actively involved in skill development programs, particularly focused on economically disadvantaged youth and women, helping to create a more inclusive and robust workforce.
In their communication, COSIA highlighted the critical role MSMEs play in both economic and social development. Recognizing that MSMEs are at the heart of India’s economic engine, COSIA expressed optimism that the Government of Maharashtra, under the leadership of Shri Fadnavis, would take decisive steps to alleviate the challenges faced by these businesses and promote a favorable environment for their growth.
“We are confident that the government will implement policies that strengthen MSMEs and make Maharashtra’s economy even more resilient,” said Sandeep Parikh, President of COSIA. “COSIA stands ready to support the government’s initiatives and will continue to collaborate in every way possible to ensure the progress of MSMEs in the state.”
