Seminar on Central & State Government Export Promotion Schemes & Trade Agreements

The Thane Small Scale Industries Association (TSSIA), in association with the Chamber of Small Industry Associations (COSIA), successfully organized a seminar on “Central & State Government Export Promotion Schemes, Incentives and Trade Agreements” at Ankola Hall, TSSIA House, Wagle Estate, Thane, on Monday, 16th March 2026.

The session commenced with opening remarks by Mr. Bhavesh Maru, Hon. General Secretary, TSSIA, who welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of understanding export policies and incentives for MSMEs aiming to expand globally.

Mr. Kirti Panchal introduced the distinguished speakers:

  • Mr. Mihir Ajit Shah, Foreign Trade & EXIM Advisor and keynote speaker
  • Mr. Manish Patil, Industries Officer, Joint Director of Industries (JDI), Thane
  • Mr. Pranav Zunjarrao, Advisor with Ernst & Young for Export Promotion, Government of Maharashtra

Insights on Maharashtra’s Export Promotion Policies

Mr. Pranav Zunjarrao and Mr. Manish Patil provided valuable insights into the Export Promotion Policies of Maharashtra, including the Package Scheme of Incentives (PSI) and upcoming initiatives by the Government of Maharashtra aimed at boosting exports and supporting MSMEs.

Keynote Session on Export Schemes & Trade Agreements

The keynote address by Mr. Mihir Ajit Shah delivered an in-depth understanding of critical export-related schemes and frameworks. The session covered:

  • Overview of India’s major trade agreements
  • Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) Scheme
