Seminar on Empowering MSMEs with Selling, Negotiation, Branding and Advertising Skills

The seminar on “Selling and Negotiation Skills & Branding and Advertising for MSMEs” was successfully organized by Thane Small Scale Industries Association (TSSIA) in Association with Chamber of Small Industry Associations (COSIA) & Kohinoor Business School (KBS) on 16th November 2024 at TSSIA House, Thane. The event aimed to equip MSMEs with critical skills to thrive in a competitive marketplace.

The seminar began with a warm welcome by Mr. Eknath Sonawane, Executive Secretary of COSIA, who delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the importance of skill enhancement for MSMEs. 

Mr. Sunil Kulkarni, Hon. Gen. Secretary of TSSIA provided an insightful overview of TSSIA and initiatives, shedding light on its contributions to empowering MSMEs.

Dr. Niyat Shetty highlighted the critical role of sales as a cornerstone of business success. He described sales as both an art and a science, requiring strategic thinking and practical skills to convert prospects into customers. The session covered essential techniques to enhance selling and negotiation skills, empowering participants to achieve better outcomes in their business transactions.

She stressed the relevance of the phrase “Jo Dikhta Hai Woh Bikta Hai,” explaining how modern branding and advertising strategies can elevate a business’s visibility and consumer engagement. The session also explored the shift from traditional to unconventional advertising methods.
